| Saturday 6th August 2005 marked a major day in History for the Class 47 when the FIRST EVER visit to Fort William and Mallaig was made, the line was only cleared a few days before the tour. The feat was repeated on 24th September, but this time included a memorable run through Glasgow Central Low Level!
